The Jewish PeopleThe Jewish people are a religious group who mostly lived in Israel. They pray at synagogues, or churches for the Jewish. They have bar-mitzvahs, which is a celebration of a Jewish boy who has reached the age of thirteen, which means that they are ready to observe and take part in religious practices such as public worship of the Jewish God. They have special holidays including the Hanukkah. Most of the Germans hated the Jewish, especially the Nazis. They thought that the Jewish were a bad group of people who were trying to take over the world, and that they were the cause of economic crisis and that the Jewish were possessed with the evil. The Jewish had different beliefs than other religious groups, and they differ from holidays and food. They pray to God everyday and their international emblem is the Star of David.
There are also many famous people that are Jewish today, too. Did you know that Albert Einstein, Natalie Portman, Jake Gyllenhaal, Adam Levine and Scarlett Johansson are all Jewish? Although the Nazis blame that the causes of all the evil things in the world were the Jewish people's fault, many people actually did believe it. |
Anne's Family |
Anne’s family had four people: Anne Frank, who was the youngest of the family, Margot Frank, who was the eldest child of the Frank family, Otto Frank, the father of the family and finally, Edith Frank, who was the mother of the family. Anne Frank secretly liked her father best in the family, for she did not get along with her mother and her sister. The family were Jewish who were sent to concentration camps. Only one member of the family survived: Otto Frank.
